With a deep rooted passion for finding beauty in all things, I look forward to working with you. On here, I share my work as a interior and home-design brand photographer, but also glimpses into life at The Cottage.
Ever have days where you get to be highly creative and feel super inspired and happy at the end? These are some of my favorite days! During the beloved time we now all refer to as “quarantine”, I invited Courtney with Raleigh Cheesy over to our home for a brand photography session. We spent a couple of hours being highly creative and enjoying the beauty that comes from creating a charcuterie board. It came at a dark time in my life (outside of CV) and it felt amazing to just be creative and forget the world going up in flames all around. We spent some time in my sister-in-law’s garden – she had fresh sage and rosemary — then walked back over and got to work photographing the process of building a charcuterie board. This is one of my favorite ways to do a brand photography session – document the process.
During our planning session, we discussed using elements that regularly appear on Raleigh Cheesy boards and also incorporating brand standards, such as her logo color. We did that in two ways – textiles and food elements. You can see those elements woven through each of the images. I am all about making sure there is a “method to the magic”, yall! 🙂
Honey bubbles. Swoon.
Amazing cheese crumbles. Freshly washed blueberries. Folded meats.
Beautifully assembled board. We also highlighted a new product offering that she was released during that time.
And that, my friends, is the story of building a charcuterie board. Photographing a brand session with a storyline. This was one of my FIRST brand sessions and I’ve learned so much more about how to capture the essence of a brand. You can see more of my work on my brand portfolio page. If you’re local to Raleigh and the surrounding areas, ready to make some magic and showcase your brand or company’s product or service offerings through a brand photography session, send me a message! Happy to help!
(PS – if you’ve been an Instagram follower for any length of time, you know I secretly LOVE food photography. So this session totally made my heart sing! 🙂 If you know of a company that might be a good fit…and need their work showcased – send ’em my way!! 🙂
