For a while now, I have wanted to showcase the amazing work that my clients create. Blogging has been one of my favorite ways to share the interior photography of our home. I felt it was time to share the photography I create for my interior photography business. Using a “client feature” post, I hope to share a peek into my portfolio work but also highlight my clients and give their websites some friendly-SEO stuff too! WIN-WIN!

Hollis & Jay is a boutique real estate and renovation design firm based in Raleigh. I have worked with Holly for several years. It is a treat to see her designs come to life and capture them through my lens. The project I want to share with you first is an oldie, but goodie! Based in the heart of Raleigh, this renovation was full of warm, thoughtful details that met their client’s needs. I loved the gourmet kitchen appliances and warm metal selections.

This sweet fella was Rudy. He thoroughly enjoyed his snacks I slipped him from Chick-fil-a. Such a happy pup. I loved homes that have pets – they end up as my sidekick during a shoot. Our boxer, Max, loves to be in shoots too.

Bringing fresh produce and flowers to photoshoots is always recommended by me. I have a list of recommendations that I give during a photo consultation! They add touches of life and bring photographs to life. So do pups. 🙂

Fact: I LOVE the way cigars smell. This cigar room convinced me that I need a fully dark-painted room in our home. Maybe a couple. The rich, worn leather was the perfect accent for this space.

I suspect this sunroom is perfectly warm in winter. It was cheery and inviting. The fiddle seemed happy here too, as did Rudy!
